Did you know the Accessibility Resource Center (A.R.C.) is offering academic accommodations and disability support services in this virtual environment? Do you, your colleagues, and/or students want to learn more about the A.R.C.?
The A.R.C. provides students with disabilities academic accommodations, individualized counseling, and support services to promote access to education as well as academic success. Qualified students with disabilities can receive services in accordance with the California Code of Regulations Title 5, Section 504 of the Federal Rehabilitation Act, and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
We are taking requests for brief 15-20 minute informational A.R.C. presentations. This presentation will provide an overview of A.R.C. services and how to access them. If you would like to request a presentation for your class, meeting, or event, please complete our online A.R.C. Presentation Request form.
If you are requesting more than one presentation, please complete a form for each appearance. You will receive an email confirming your presentation within 10 days of your request.
Due to limitations resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic and campus closure, these A.R.C. presentations are only available for synchronous virtual instruction and NOT available for in-person or asynchronous instruction. For in-person and asynchronous classes, please consider sharing with your students our informational slide (includes audio and transcript).
