Students with hearing loss including Deaf, deaf, hard-of-hearing, and Deaf-Blind may
qualify for American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting, real-time captioning (RTC),
or assistive listening device (ALD) accommodations. All accommodations must be authorized
by an A.R.C. Counselor/Specialist before services can be coordinated.
Be sure to request an ASL interpreter for your intake appointment, as needed.
To request an ASL Interpreter or Real-Time Captioning, authorized students must complete the
Request ASL Interpreter & Real Time Captioning (Classroom) form after registering for new classes or as soon as possible, each semester.
To request services for an academic activity outside of the classroom, complete the Request ASL Interpreter & Real Time Captioning (Academic Activity) form.
