Library Services for Students

The library offers both in-person and virtual services to Grossmont Students.

	Borrowing Course Materials Students can Borrow Course Materials from the library. Located on the first floor of the library.
	Borrowing Technology Students can Borrow Technology including WiFi Hotspots, laptops, Chromebooks, and calculators.
	Borrowing Material from Other Libraries If you need a resource the library does not have, you can borrow the item through Interlibrary Loan.
	Using Library Spaces Library spaces include study tables, computers, a scanner, printing, zoom booths, and study rooms.
	Research Help Students can get research help in-person during library hours and can get help from off campus through 24/7 chat or phone (619) 644-7361.
	Borrow Games Borrow board games to use in the library. Located at the first floor circulation desk.

OneSearch

Find articles, books, films and more by searching OneSearch which searches the most of the library's databases in one simple search.

Databases

If you have a specific database that you want to search, access the Databases A-Z list to find the database.

Course Materials

Students can borrow Course Materials from the library. Located on the first floor of the library.

Books

Students can borrow physical books and ebooks from the library. For information about borrowing physical books, visit the Circulation Services page.

Media

Access our Media Databases to view streaming films. DVDs are located at the 1st floor service desk and can be used in the library only.

Printing

Print from any device, black and white 10¢ and color 50¢. See the printing guide for help and troubleshooting

Scanner

Free and easy to use, the KIC Bookeye scanner is located on the 1st floor of the Library. Ask the librarian at the reference desk for help and troubleshooting
