Print Shop Pro is the Printing Department's online ordering system. Whether you're placing your first order or returning to submit another project, this guide will walk you through the ordering process from sign-in to pickup.

Step 1: Sign In to Print Shop Pro


Select Log In in the upper-right corner of the Print Shop Pro home page and sign in using your GCCCD account credentials.

  • Username
    firstname.lastname
    Important: Do not include @gcccd.edu in your username.
  • Password
    Your GCCCD account password

First-time users:

If this is your first time signing in, Print Shop Pro will automatically create your account and submit it for approval. Once approved, you can begin submitting printing requests and ordering office supplies.

 

Step 2: Account Approval


New Print Shop Pro accounts require approval before orders can be submitted.

  • Allow up to two business days for account activation.
  • Include a valid phone number in your profile in case the Printing Department needs to contact you about your order.

If you receive the message:

“Your account is active on the network, but is not active in Print Shop Pro.”

Your account has been created successfully but is still awaiting approval. Please allow up to two business days for activation before submitting your first order.


Step 3: Choose an Order Type


Quick Copy

Use Quick Copy for everyday black-and-white printing, including:

  • Exams
  • Quizzes
  • Syllabi
  • Handouts
  • Everyday black-and-white copying

Printing Order
Use Printing Order for specialty printing and finishing, including:

  • Color printing
  • Business cards
  • Letterhead
  • Envelopes
  • Lamination
  • Books
  • NCR forms

Important: Dean approval is required for color printing, lamination, books, and other specialty printing requests.



Step 4: Prepare Your Files


Before submitting your order, make sure your files are complete and ready to print.

  • Save your files in a supported format, such as PDF or a Microsoft Office document.
  • Review your document for spelling, formatting, and page order.
  • Include all files needed to complete your project.
  • Gather any required approvals before submitting your order.

Tip: Following the Printing Department's file preparation guidelines can help prevent delays and ensure the best print quality.

Step 5: Submit Your Order


Complete the online order form and upload your print-ready files.

  • Enter the required job details.
  • Upload your files.
  • Review your order for accuracy.
  • Select Submit to send your request to the Printing Department.

Note: You'll receive an email confirmation after your order has been submitted.

Step 6: Track Your Order


Sign in to Print Shop Pro at any time to check the status of your order.

From your account, you can:

  • View current and past orders.
  • Check the status of an order.
  • Review order details.

Tip: If you have questions about your order or need to make changes after submitting it, contact the Printing Department as soon as possible.

Step 7: Pick Up Your Order


You'll receive a notification when your order is ready for pickup.

When picking up your order:

  • Verify that your order is complete.
  • Review your printed materials before leaving.
  • Contact the Printing Department immediately if you notice any issues.

Common Issues


I received the message: “Your account is active on the network, but is not active in Print Shop Pro.”

Your GCCCD credentials are valid, but your Print Shop Pro account is still awaiting approval. Allow up to two business days for account activation before submitting your first order.

 


I forgot my GCCCD password.

Print Shop Pro uses your GCCCD account credentials. If you've forgotten your password, reset it through the GCCCD password management system before signing in again.

I can't sign in.

Verify that you're using:

  • Username: firstname.lastname
  • Password: Your GCCCD account password

Do not include @gcccd.edu in your username.

If you're still unable to sign in, contact the Printing Department for assistance.

 


I submitted the wrong file.

Contact the Printing Department as soon as possible. If your order has not entered production, they may be able to make changes to your order or replace your files.
