Grossmont Master Chorale AUDITION

Entrance to the Grossmont Master Chorale is by audition only.

 

Auditions: Tuesday, January 23, 2023, 6:30-8:00 p.m. in room 26-225 (Music Building): Please contact Dr. Randall Tweed to confirm a specific audition time. randall.tweed@gcccd.edu  

 

Audition process (@10 minutes):

 

1. Vocalises to ascertain vocal range/quality

2. Aural Skills Assessment to ascertain intonation/acuity

3. Simple sight-reading exercise, e.g. selected song.

 

Application & Registration: Auditioning for Grossmont College ensembles require students to apply to the college (found on the Grossmont College homepage: www.grossmont.edu). Registration will occur upon successful audition into the ensemble.
