The Office of Professional Development

Grossmont College, through the Office of Professional Development, strives to provide comprehensive professional learning opportunities for the faculty, staff, and administrators of the college. Programming is driven by formal college-wide assessments and directly supports the college's strategic priorities and mission. The work of Professional Development is informed and supported through the college's Professional Development Committee, a college-wide governance committee, the Faculty Professional Development Committee, an Academic Senate Committee, and the Classified Professionals Professional Development Advisory, a Classified Senate work group. The Office is under the Direction of the Dean of Student Success and Equity, who serves in the College Planning and Institutional Effectiveness Office, and it is through these direct ties to planning and the multi-faceted approach that Grossmont College is able to support professional learning for faculty, staff, and administrators.
