Office of Professional Development

Grossmont College through the Office of Professional Development strives to provide comprehensive professional learning opportunities for the faculty, staff, and administrators of the college. Programing is driven by formal college-wide assessments and directly supports the college's strategic priorities and mission. The work of Professional Development is informed and supported through the college's Professional Development Committee, a college-wide governance committee, the Faculty Professional Development Committee, an Academic Senate Committee, and the Classified Professional Development Committee, giving voice to our Classified Professionals needs. Through this multi-faceted approach Grossmont College is able to support professional learning for faculty, staff and administrators.

The Vision Resource Center

The Vision Resource Center is available for free to all GCCCD Employees. Within the VRC users have access to over 10,000 learning modules on a variety of topics, as well as system wide webinars from the State Chancellor’s Office, and information on the Vision for Success. Users can connect to discuss ideas, share strategies and resources, and collaborate with others in the community forums. Additionally the Grossmont College Spring 2021 Flex Week Calendar is available to view and register for workshop sessions.
