Grossmont College through the Office of Professional Development strives to provide comprehensive professional learning opportunities for the faculty, staff, and administrators of the college. Programing is driven by formal college-wide assessments and directly supports the college's strategic priorities and mission. The work of Professional Development is informed and supported through the college's Professional Development Committee, a college-wide governance committee, the Faculty Professional Development Committee, an Academic Senate Committee, and the Classified Professional Development Committee, giving voice to our Classified Professionals needs. Through this multi-faceted approach Grossmont College is able to support professional learning for faculty, staff and administrators.

In an effort to continue the momentum towards establishing an anti-racist campus and becoming equity - advancing educators, the Office of Professional Development has partnered with Dr. Lasana Hotep to offer three dynamic workshops around becoming an equity minded educator. We are excited to offer these workshops as a continuation to the Spring 2021 Convocation message of cultivating a culture of anti-racism. Join us as we commit to intentional professional learning experiences that are centered around advancing equity at Grossmont College!
