Prerequisite Clearance Information
Prerequisites are not cleared automatically
(unless taken at Grossmont or Cuyamaca College)
Prerequisite clearance requests should be requested two weeks prior to your registration date.
Requests to clear any prerequisite MUST be initiated by the student and include the following:

Student Name

Student ID Number (Social Security numbers are not accepted)

Course(s) you wish to be cleared for

Documentation
Required prerequisites are posted in the college catalog, available on the web.
Requests will be processed in the order in which they are received.
To clear HED 255 (Requires a "C" grade or higher or Pass in Biology 120, and Chemistry 115 or Chemistry 120, or equivalent)
