Jazmyn is a dance advocate dedicated to fostering opportunities for people to discover their passion for movement. She is reliable, values communication, and will show up for you.

Jazmyn started her dance path with ballet and jazz as a toddler but found true passion in Hip Hop in 2004 with the Non-Profit Organization Culture Shock San Diego. She trained under many icons including Rynan Paguio (Jabbawockeez), Keone Madrid (Beyond Babel), and Tessandra Chavez (Unity Dance Ensemble). In 2009 she began her professional career with Culture Shock Dance Troupe under the direction of Sherman Shoate. She missed her High School prom because she was performing in the Culture Shock San Diego theatrical “Graffiti Life” written by Maxx “Pose2” Moses. One of her favorite performance experiences was an 80s themed pop-culture celebration for the toy company, Funko, in 2018 at San Diego Comic Con’s event Funko Friday. Jazmyn achieved her AA in Dance and a Certification in Teaching Dance at MiraCosta Community College. During her time at MiraCosta, Jazmyn performed in Waking Up choreographed by Jess Humphrey for the ACDF Gala in 2010. This piece introduced her to the fascinating world of Post-Modern. She earned a BA degree from Colorado Mesa University where she studied Theatre Arts with a focus in Dance. Her favorite performance from college was a spicy jazz piece honoring the late Amy Winehouse titled Amy choreographed by Megan Glynn Zollinger.
