  • Coordinator for the English Writing Center
    • Approximately twenty years ago, the English Department saw the need to develop an English Writing Center (EWC) to support students as they write for all of college classes.  Involved in the initial development of the EWC, I, in collaboration with the EWC Learning Skills Coordinator, manage the operation of the English Writing Center and provide support, as needed to the supervision of approximately 30 tutors who provide nearly 6,000 tutoring sessions each semester.
  • Coordinator for the Reading Annex

When I look back, I am so impressed again with the life-giving power of literature. If I were a young person today, trying to gain a sense of myself in the world, I would do that again by reading, just as I did when I was young.
