The President's Taskforce on Anti-Racism is an advisory group that works with the Grossmont College president on issues related to anti-racism, diversity, equity and inclusion. It is not a recommending or participatory governance body.

Membership

Members of the President's Taskforce on Anti-Racism include President's Cabinet, Academic Senate president and president-elect (as applicable), Classified Senate president and president-elect (as applicable), and faculty, classified professionals and supervisors/managers appointed by the president. Activities

The President's Taskforce on Anti-Racism primarily meets at 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. every other Thursday on Zoom. During these meetings, they discuss X.

 

Additionally, at least one member of the President's Taskforce on Anti-Racism attends the monthly e-convenings organized by the California Community Colleges Equity Leadership Alliance through the University of Southern California Race and Equity Center. Following these e-convenings, attendees will report out on their experiences and what they learned during the Brown Bag Zoom meetings that take place on the fourth Wednesday of each month.
