Welcome to the Assistive Technology Center!

The Assistive Technology Center (ATC) is a computer and learning lab offered by the A.R.C. to help students develop computer skills, master use of assistive technology, and foster learning strategies.

Assistive technology is hardware and software that help people with disabilities use computers effectively. Knowledgeable lab staff help students use the hardware and software available at the ATC.

Staff are also available to provide assistance with college systems and student portals such as Self-Service, Canvas, and Zoom.

The ATC provides a wide variety of assistive technology including:

  • Text to Speech – Screen Reader
  • Speech to Text – Voice Recognition
  • Text/Screen Magnification
  • Assistive Listening Devices
  • Alternative Input Devices
  • Accessible Computer Equipment
  • Idea Generation Software

Some ATC resources and services are available virtually. To inquire, email William Bown
