The Assistive Technology Center (ATC) is a computer and learning lab offered by the A.R.C. to help students develop computer skills, master use of assistive technology, and foster learning strategies.
Assistive technology is hardware and software that help people with disabilities use computers effectively. Knowledgeable lab staff help students use the hardware and software available at the ATC.
Staff are also available to provide assistance with college systems and student portals such as WebAdvisor/Self-Service, Canvas, and Zoom.
Some ATC resources and services are available virtually. Email william.bown@gcccd.edu to inquire about services.
To request alternate media/audio books, authorized students must complete the
Request Alternate Media Books form after registering for new classes or as soon as possible, each semester.
