Drone Technology Program

 

Grossmont College is proud to offer a robust and accelerated training program in Drone Technology to train novices to become FAA-certified, commercial drone pilots.  Valued at $8000, the 105-hour, not-for-credit program is funded by the America's Promise grant through the U.S. Department of Labor and is free to applicants who meet the following requirements:

• US Citizen
• 18 years or older
• Meet FAA107 guidelines
• Willing & able to work in the US

The program accepts all applicants, however as a recipient of the America's Promise grant, priority enrollment will be provided to individuals with significant barriers to accessing training and employment opportunities, including:

• Veterans
• Native/Alaskan American
• Unemployed
• Ex-offenders
