BOT Flex Lab


The Business Office Technology (BOT) Department welcomes you to the Flex Lab web page. The BOT department offers many classes, most of which are available through the Flex Lab (located in the Tech Mall, Room 70-131 on the Grossmont College campus in El Cajon, CA). All Flex Lab courses are open entry/ open exit and each student selects his or her own hours of attendance to fulfill the course requirements. Stop by Room 70-131 anytime for more information.

Orientation Dates and Times (Room 70-131)


Attend one Orientation


Monday, August 19 -- 10:00 a.m. -- 2:00 p.m. -- 6:00 p.m.  


Tuesday, August 20 -- 10:00 a.m. -- 2:00 p.m. -- 6:00 p.m. 


After August 20,  view the Online Orientation and complete the verification activity in Canvas.


GETTING STARTED (for enrolled students)

  1. Attend an Orientation during the times listed above or view the Orientation in your Canvas container.

  2. Log into Canvas to complete your required Orientation Verification Activity. (Available only to enrolled students at the start of the semester).

Coursework must be completed by MONDAY December 9, 2019.


Final Exams can be completed once you have finished all coursework. If you wish to wait until Finals Week to take your Final Exam(s), you may do so on the dates below:

Tuesday and Wednesday, December 10 & 11, 2019

All students must follow appropriate computer usage as outlined by the district in the Computer and Network Use Procedure AP 3720Use of GCCCD Property, and in particular this computer lab,  indicates awareness, understanding and an agreement to comply with all applicable policies and procedures. Failure to comply with GCCCD Policies and Procedures may result in disciplinary action in accordance with Board Policy and the Student Discipline Procedures Handbook.   Students are strongly encouraged to use their lab time wisely and effectively.
