Virtual Grossmont Learning Center
The Office of Professional Development is excited to launch the Virtual Grossmont Learning Center (VGLC)! The VGLC is built to be a one-stop shop for a variety of professional development resources. Think of it as our online version of a teaching and learning center. The VGLC is open to all employees on campus and we hope you'll utilize its resources no matter your role on campus. In the VGLC you will have access to:
- Resources by Topic
- Event & Program Archives
- Links to other canvas courses with important resources (e.g. GC Canvas Resources canvas shell)
- Information on Professional Development opportunities outside of our district
In order to access the VGLC you’ll need to have a Canvas account.
- Classified Professionals & Administrators: If you don’t already have a Canvas account or need help recovering your account, please contact grossmont.canvas@gcccd.edu.
- Faculty: Your Canvas account login credentials are the same as those you use for Self-Service. This is normally your legal firstname.lastname as your username, and your eight-digit birthdate as the password (e.g. 01121980). If you’d like a step-by-step guide for logging in, please click here.

Be sure to enroll in the course when prompted in order to access the VGLC content.
If you view any of the content on the VGLC for your own professional development and would like to submit it for FLEX credit, please submit it as an external training.

The VGLC will never be "done"! We'll frequently be updating content and adding new
resources as they become available. So, if you have a suggestion for a topic or workshop
