Kim Roser-Kedward

About Kim Roser-Kedward:

Kim is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with Master Degree in Clinical Social Work (Mental Health Concentration) from San Diego State University and a Bachelor Degree in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles.  Her professional life outside of Grossmont College is focused on improving mental health in adults, with a specialty in treating anxiety disorders, trauma and insomnia.  Prior to launching her private practice in March of 2007, Kim held a six-year clinical position with UCSD Healthcare-Outpatient Psychiatric Services where she treated numerous patients from culturally and economically-diverse backgrounds and trained and supervised interns from our local graduate programs.  Most recently, Kim was honored to provide mental-health treatment for all-eras of our nation’s veterans at VA Healthcare San Diego from 2012-2016, treating a wide-range of mental health concerns including, PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, Insomnia, and Adjustment Disorders.

When she is not working, Kim enjoys hiking, bicycling, planning her vegetable garden, and laughing with her husband.  A bicycle enthusiast, she enjoys bicycle touring, which has included multi-day bicycle tours in Oregon, Montana, and from Washington, D.C. to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  She hopes to someday ride her bicycle on the Underground Railroad and eventually across the country.
