The staff and faculty of the Grossmont College Administration of Justice Department welcome you to explore the world of Public Safety Careers!

We hope to help you accomplish your dream of becoming a Police or Highway Patrol Officer, Deputy Sheriff, Reserve Officer, Forensic Specialist, Dispatcher, Security Professional, Corrections or Probation Officer, Court Administrator, or Federal Agent!

Registration is open for the fall 2017 semester.  You may apply now for the fall 2017  & spring 2018 semester if you are a new student.

  • Police Academy
  • Public safety dispatch

Apply & Enroll Grossmont

Students should be aware that prior felony or any misdemeanor or felony domestic violence convictions, and some psychological holds, are disqualifying.  TROs (Temporary Restraining Orders) can also be a disqualifier.

Prior substance abuse (including marijuana) and other disqualifiers may apply in specific positions related to law enforcement or forensics.
