Exercise Science Items for Student Evaluation

  1. Grades on student performance, achievement and participation.
  2. Reviews and enforces safety rules, instructs in proper use of equipment, and informs students of potential dangers.
  3. Comes to class on time and stays for the full class period.
  4. Makes effective use of class period by groups and individual instruction.
  5. Corrects individual movement patterns that are not effective.
  6. Encourages students to perform at expected standards.
  7. Uses lead up drills to reinforce movement principles.
  8. Emphasizes repetition of correct technique in practice sessions.
  9. Uses cue words to stimulate correct performance.
