Examples of some San Diego county courses that meet the prerequisite for Grossmont College Health Professions Orthopedic Technology program:

  • Grossmont College - Biology 140 - Anatomy

  • Cuyamaca College - Biology 144 - Anatomy & Physiology I

  • Imperial Valley Community College - BIOL 200- Human Anatomy & Physiology I or BIOL 204- Human Anatomy

  • Mira Costa College - Biology 210- Human Anatomy

  • Palomar College - Zoology 200-Anatomy

  • San Diego State University - Biology 212- Human Anatomy

  • San Diego City College - Biology 230-Human Anatomy

  • Mesa College - Biology 230- Human Anatomy

  • Miramar College - Biology 230- Human Anatomy

  • Southwestern College - Biology 260- Human Anatomy


UCSD Extension Course number X480 is acceptable (without a lab) if the student also has a Bachelors Degree in Biology from an accredited college/university.

NOTE:
All of the above science courses must have a lab.

Some colleges have course prerequisites that must be met prior to entry into their anatomy or anatomy/physiology combo courses. Check with the respective college.
