24th Annual Literary Arts Festival

Coming to the 2020 LAF: poet CHRIS BARON, author of the YA novel-in-verse, All of Me; writer and rock musician ROB ROBERGE, reading from his memoir, Liar; essayist and fairytale writer LILY HOANG, performing readings from her award-winning A Bestiary; queer writer and performer MYRIAM GURBA, reading from Mean; poet DANEZ SMITH of the viral sensation, "Dear white people," and author of the acclaimed new poetry collection, Homie; student panel WHY LIT MATTERS hosted by Lisa Ledria-Aguilar and Joe Hiskey; and, the biannual NEW VOICES Student Reading featuring this semester's standout student writers of poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, and drama.  For binge-worthy LAF bios, bibliographies, learning resources, selected media, and more, visit the official website of the 2020 Literary Arts Festival at grossmont.edu/laf (or click on the banner below).
