We desperately need a stimulus package or this country's economy is going to have a depression along the lines of the Great Depression.  It really does not matter too much on exactly what we spend money on.  It just has stimulate short-run effective demand and do it quickly.. It has to lift people's spirits so they will  regain the confidence in the American economy that they have lost under eight years of the Bush administration.  I believe President Obama is the man to lead us in this endevour.  It is up to the opposition, who have long supported the policies that have gotten us in this mess, to overcome narrow partisanship and support the President in these endevours.
