Planning
to Transfer?
As a prospective transfer student, it is important to
make sure that the community college courses you take are acceptable to
the university for transfer credit.
ASSIST is California's official statewide repository of transfer information for
the CSU and UC university systems, offering easy access to a single
database. ASSIST will help you determine if you will receive credit for
courses you've already taken or plan to take and how those courses will
apply to a specific academic major or general education requirement.

planning their college education; it is designed to help students through
each phase of choosing a college or university. It helps students select
which CSU campus they want to attend, plan to meet CSU entrance and
academic requirements, apply for admissions and financial aid, understand
financial aid eligibility and opportunities, and establish an electronic
communications link between the student and CSU campus(es).

Looking
for Financial Aid?

that uses the Internet to help students find scholarships for college. It
matches each student's background, automatically, with eligibility requirements
for scholarships from around the country and advises them about scholarship
opportunities. In addition, it provides an extensive college directory with
information on admissions, financial aid and general information, information
from national experts on admissions, financial aid, money management, career
planning, jobs and life after college. For more financial aid information visit
Grossmont's Financial Aid website.

Want to know if your classes
articulate to a CSU course?
If they have CAN numbers answering that question is much
easier. The California Articulation Number (CAN) provides a cross
reference number for courses which have been evaluated by faculty and
determined to be acceptable "in lieu" of each other. You may
visit the CAN website to view a listing of courses
that have CAN numbers.
