090R with English 090, English 098R with English 098, and English 110R with English 110. English
090R, 098R and 110R are
courses designed to improve comprehension skills, vocabulary skills and reading
speed. English 090 instructs the student in spelling, vocabulary, and grammar. English
098 instructs the student in paragraph and simple essay
development. English 110 instructs the student in more sophisticated essay
forms. These courses are linked to ensure a student's improvement in language
and communication skills.
