Grossmont
College will provide comprehensive instruction and
student support services that encourage and enable all
students to specify and reach their educational or
career goals in a reasonable amount of time.
- Assess new and continuing student interests and
needs and design and implement programs and services
to assist them in defining the best path to reaching
their educational and career goals.
- Faculty will define appropriate student learning
outcomes and implement appropriate assessment
measures.
- Strengthen all programs and services through
program review, curriculum design, identification of
regional economic and demographic information,
advisory groups, the application of appropriate
technologies, and research data.
- Maintain academic integrity, update academic
standards, and improve quality of service.
- Encourage a higher level of student
participation and responsibility for their own
educational success.
- Enhance students’ academic experience through
the infusion of multicultural content as appropriate
throughout the curriculum.
- Increase the number of articulation agreements
with universities and will increase the number of
students who are prepared for transfer.
- Increase and track the number of students who
successfully complete certificate programs, transfer
coursework, or associate degrees and who achieve
employment related to their preparation.
- Increase student preparation for and retention
in courses.
