Physical Resources

  Grossmont College will design and maintain a physical infrastructure that meets the changing needs of students, staff and the college’s instructional and student support programs while valuing and enhancing the aesthetic beauty of the campus.

 
  • Improve pedestrian and vehicular access to, circulation within, and egress from the campus.
  • Review and update as necessary the college’s Facilities Master Plan, and will identify the most effective uses of state, local proposition, and outside funding.
  • Ensure the broadest possible campus participation in the design and use of existing, new and remodeled facilities, including the aesthetic development of the campus environment.
  • Plan and budget efficiently for the secondary effects of implementing the Facilities Master Plan.
  • Provide adequate parking and seek to improve public transportation to the campus.
  • Work with the District to maintain a safe and clean environment for work and study.
