Internet Marketing - BUS 147 / CSIS 147

Make your product or service stand out from the crowd! You will learn how to choose the focus for your site, how to conduct keyword research, how to pick a strong domain name, how to set up and add content to a blog, how to drive traffic to your site using social media and article marketing and how to generate income via pay-per-click and affiliate marketing.

Internet Marketing is a 3-unit hybrid introductory course that will require both on campus and online meetings as per the instructor's syllabus. (course abstract) Recommended (not required) preparation: CSIS 133 Web Development Tools or equivalent.

Internet Marketing (BUS 147 / CSIS 147) is offered by both the Business and Computer Science departments. The class meets once a week on campus Thursday afternoons from 2:00PM to 3:50PM. Class begins on January 27, 2011.
