ASTR 110 – Fall 2008


This course enables students to view the historical development of astronomy, to be aware of the tools of astronomy, and to critically analyze collected data to achieve an appreciation of the nature of the Universe.

Every time I look at the sky, I feel like a little kid again! It gives me peace, joy and a profound feeling of awe at the beauty of the Universe we live in. This is the reason I embarked in a BSc in Physics and then continued in grad school to specialize in Astrophysics in the goal of eventually share my passion through teaching. I studied at Université Laval in Québec, Canada, and then moved to SoCal in 2004 to start my career per se and teach at different community colleges in the area. I have been teaching full time at Grossmont College since the Fall of 2007.
