Insurance Services

Insurance Symbol The insurance program at Grossmont College is designed to give students basic instruction in the field of Property & Casualty Insurance. Through the use of curriculum provided by the Insurance Institute, students are prepared to take the national exam in four different courses leading to the designation of Associate In Insurance Services.

Courses are offered each semester allowing the student to complete the entire program in one academic year. Each course is offered one evening a week for 13 weeks. The instructors are working professionals in the field of insurance and offer a wide variety of practical insight into the field of insurance. Upon completion of the program, students will be qualified for mid–level positions at both the company and agency level.
