ASATT Certification

The certification for Anesthesia Techs is "ASATT certification” (American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians). This is a national certification.  It is not required by any states (yet), but some employers require it either prior to or within 2 years of hire.  Grossmont College ROP Anesthesia Tech students will need to work as ATs for 2 years before they are eligible to sit the exam.
