'Taco Shop Poets' Featured Free Cultural Event Grossmont College December 6

     El Cajon - Grossmont College World Arts and Cultural Organizing Committee announces its December event, an evening of border music and poetry with the Taco Shop Poets. The performance, which will be held Friday, December 6, 7 - 9 p.m. in room 220 on the college campus, is free and open to the public.

     According to Dr. Ted Martinez, Jr., Grossmont College president, "We are pleased to offer this performance by this well-known community-based poetry and music collective, which was founded in 1994, and to extend an invitation to the public to attend." Campus co-sponsors include the Associated Students of Grossmont College and the EOPS program.
Taco Shop Poets include Adrian Arancibia, Adolfo Guzman Lopez, Tomas Riley, Miguel-Angel Soria. Their musical lineup includes Michael Figgins and Kevin P. Green.
