World Wide Web Standards
The Web allows access to distributed information on the Internet via hyperlinks.
It is defined by three standards, or protocols:
HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP)
The standard by which information is served over the Internet
Hypertext Markup Language (HTML)
The coding language used to create Web "pages"
