Beliefnet: Multifaith Information  Provides religious, spiritual and moral information and inspiration from a spectrum of religious and spiritual beliefs.  It includes news, discussions, culture, prayer, links to sacred texts, as well as pages for Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, and many other religions.

Books of Distinction  Sponsored by Templeton Foundation Press, this site uses the .org domain but does sell books like a commercial site--but at 20% discount.  Many titles feature spiritual information.

Catholic Online  A very "robust" site with multiple options.  Choose between "Saints & Angels," "Featured Today," "Prayers," and a whole host of other choices.
 

Finding God in Cyberspace  John Gresham of Fontbonne College in St. Louis has assembled this selective clearinghouse of religious studies resources. Categories include Print Resources; People Resources; Digital Resources; Teaching Resources; Academic Disciplines; and Religious Traditions.

Hartford Institute for Religion Research Their seminary is "committed to providing quality, social scientific religion research information that is helpful for religious leaders and the general public."

Islamic Studies  This academic website of Dr. Alan Godlas, professor in the Department of Religion at the University of Georgia, gives a scholarly overview of Islam and related subjects.

Judaism 101  "An online encyclopedia of Judaism, covering Jewish beliefs, people, places, things, language, scripture, holidays, practices and customs."

Musalman.com  Also known as "The Islamic Portal," this site provides links to good news coverage and conducts polls allowing user participation.

Review of Biblical Literature  Created by the Society for Biblical Literature, this site offers online access to scholarly reviews of books on biblical studies and related topics.   The archive dates back to 1996.  It provides easy access through a variety of approaches, and the reviews download quickly.

Virtual Religion Index  Presented as a "tool for students with little time."  VRI was hosted for many years by Rutgers University before moving to its own domain where Mahlon H. Smith continues to analyze and highlight "content on religion-related websites...."
