Patrons may check out one reserve item at a time and must return it before
checking out another item. Certain exceptions may be made in the case of
calculators and videos.
The
loan period for reserve materials ranges from 3 hours to 7 days. Materials
with a 3 hour loan period do not check out overnight.
Reserve
items are not available for renewal and may not be placed on hold.
Overdue
fines, at the rate of $1.00 per hour, start to accrue immediately after the
due time and continue to accrue until the material is returned and checked
in on the computer. This includes overnight/closed hours. Maximum amount
is $100.00
Faculty
may make books and other materials available by bringing the item with the
following completed form to the circulation desk at the library. If you

Print Reserve Form
Electronic Reserves
Faculty
may put print articles and book chapters on electronic reserve. These
documents will be available to students through the library catalog on the
web both on and off campus. Students who access the documents from off
campus will need to use their campus username and password to get access.
Faculty may put book chapters and articles on electronic
reserve by completing the following form, then
bringing the form and
a legible
copy of the article or book chapter
to the Media Desk, on the second floor of the library. If you have any questions about this service or would like to put

Media Reserves
Faculty may place videos/DVDs and other media items on
reserve. These items will be available for student check out
through the Media Desk, on the second floor of the library.
Videos are for in-library-use only. Check out periods for other
media items are determined by the instructor and are 3 hours, 1
day, or 3 days. Overdue fines, at the rate of $1.00 per hour,
start to accrue immediately after the due time and continue to
accrue until the material is returned and checked in on the
computer.
Faculty can place media on reserve by completing the
