Introduction Interlibrary Loans are books
or journal articles that are not in Grossmont’s collection that may be
requested from other libraries. Grossmont
College is part of the worldwide interlibrary loan system and can access
books from thousands of libraries. Students,
faculty, and staff may request items by filling out a form while in the
library or by using the
on-line
interlibrary loan form.
Obtaining
Books
There is no charge for
borrowing books. Books from
SDSU and
Cuyamaca
College can be obtained in a day or two. Books from other libraries can take up to four weeks to obtain.
Obtaining
Journal Articles
There is a charge of 15
cents per page for interlibrary loaned articles. Journal articles from
SDSU and
Cuyamaca
College can be obtained in two or three days. Articles from other libraries can take up to four weeks to obtain.
