have a photo ID. No more than
10 items can be checked out at any given time.
Renewals
Materials may be renewed one time only
(for the same loan period) if another patron has not placed the item on
hold. Materials may be renewed
by phone by calling (619) 644-7356 during regular business hours.
Holds
If an item is checked out you can put a hold
on it by going to the Circulation Desk to get a Holds Form and fill
it out. If you are off campus you can call 619-644-7356 to
place a hold.
Guest Cards
A verified resident of the Grossmont
College District who is at least 18 years of age may obtain a guest card. There is a $10.00 annual fee and there is a limit of 3 books checked
out at any given time.

Overdue Items
Regular (not
Reserve)
circulating materials accrue fines at $.25 per day per item. Items not returned by the close of business on the date due will be
considered overdue and fines will accrue until material is checked in on
the next business day.
Patrons will be blocked from further
checkout if they have overdue materials or if they have unpaid bills in
excess of $3.00. Students are blocked from administrative functions (registration,
drop/add, transcripts, and grades by phone) if they have any overdue
materials or fines in any amount.
There is no charge for
borrowing books. Books from SDSU and
Cuyamaca
College can be obtained in a day or two. Books from other libraries can take up to four weeks to obtain. |
