MORE SENTENCE DIAGRAMMING

 

COMPLEX, COMPOUND, AND COMPOUND-COMPLEX SENTENCES:

 

 

 

 

 

1.   A straightforward compound sentence.

 

 

2.   A complex sentence containing a subordinate clause:

 

 

3.   A compound-complex sentence with modifiers and two subordinate clauses (one of which is the aforementioned complex sentence.

 

 

4.   Placing possessive nouns and possessive adjectives, and compound sentence parts.

 

 

5.  Diagramming a clause with multiple compound sentence parts.
