 Links and More Resources

Ok, you're in the United States and in Southern California, but what is there to do? I'm here to help. I've compiled a list of links of things happening in San Diego that you might take interest in. If you have any links to recommend to me, please send them my way. I didn't have enough room for more resources on the other page so I added them here. I think you will find it helpful to get a place to live and a ride around town. I'm looking into some financial aid links and other resources to help pay for your studies, so check back from time to time. All this information is also found in the International Student Handbook.

The International Student Program and International Club do not endorse any of business advertising except for dirtcheapcarrental.com

If you would like to help the club more, you can also rent a car through Dirt Cheap car rental. They cater to international students and we have not heard of any complaints. Visit their website www.dirtcheapcarrental.com and tell them that you are an international student at Grossmont College.

Be careful, don't rush into things. You want to check out the car with a mechanic before you buy the car. It will save you time and trouble for the future

Financing:

Be sure to compare finance charges and interest rates. You should check with the banks before you go to the dealer because they might offer you a better rate.

Before you sign anything, make sure you read all the small writing and that you understand what you are signing. Make sure to ask specific questions if you don't understand, it's ok!

Bus passes are around $39 a Month or you could buy a semester one for $130.
