Sequence of Courses

All courses must be completed with a grade of "C" or better.

1. Prerequisites

• Completion of:  Speech Language Pathology Assistant 100 (with a grade of "C" or better)
• Prerequisite/Corequisite:  Biology 140 (Anatomy) or BIO 144 (Anatomy & Physiology I) or equivalent completed with a grade of "C" or better.
  • Although the Biology requirement does not have to be completed prior to beginning the SLPA program, it must be met prior continuing with SLPA 110.
    (Chemistry 115 - Fundamentals of Chemistry, 4 Units or one year of high school chemistry is a prerequisite for Biology 144)

ATTENTION . . . . ATTENTION
In addition to the SLPA classes as listed below, these courses must be completed as follows:

• CD 125 must be completed PRIOR to semester III of the SLPA program.
• CSIS 105 or CSIS 110 must be completed PRIOR to semester III of the SLPA program
• ASL 120 must be completed PRIOR to semester IV of the SLPA program
• PSY 120 must be completed PRIOR to semester IV of the SLPA program
• CD 141 must be completed PRIOR to semester IV of the SLPA program
