WELCOME TO GROSSMONT COLLEGE STUDENT HEALTH SERVICES

Our healthcare professionals and support staff evaluate and care for the health needs of all Grossmont College students.

By providing quality health care and promoting the importance of health and wellness to the Grossmont College student population, Student Health Services is dedicated to supporting your academic success.

Health and wellness promotion is a big part of our Health Services program. We have regularly scheduled wellness events and blood drives. Health Services sponsors and presents our annual student health fair. Participation in these events allows students the opportunity to not only receive health education, but also give back to our community.

The services listed below are available on a confidential basis to currently enrolled students. Some charges may apply. Please visit the links below for more information about each service.

For further information, please call us at 619-644-7192

MANDATORY HEALTH FEE

  • The Health Services office provides services to all registered students who have paid the health fee.

  • Mandatory health fee: is for the protection of any student who experience injury while participating in a college sponsored credit or non-credit class, or other activity directly supervised by a member of the college staff at a college approved co-curricular activity.

  • Note: Students that depend exclusively upon prayer for healing according to the teaching of a bona fide religious sect, denomination or organization may petition for an exemption from the health fee by submitting a written request to the Office of Admissions and Records. Requests for exemptions will be reviewed by the Dean of Admissions and Records and the Associate Dean of Student Affairs. It may become necessary to levy additional fees in order to defray costs above and beyond those associated with instruction. Forms may be obtained in Admissions, Student Affairs or Health Services.

  • CURRENT GROSSMONT COLLEGE STUDENT IDENTIFICATION OR PROOF OF REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR SERVICES.
