Mini-Grant Information
EDIC’s mini-grant program provides seed money to assist full-time
faculty, adjunct faculty and classified staff in developing
innovative projects which strengthen the quality and effectiveness
of the academic program and student support services. Funding of
mini-grants is dependent on budgetary allocations available each
year. Projects which foster collaboration between units and
departments are strongly encouraged. Listed below are examples of
"fundable" projects.
Examples of fundable projects:
- Stipend to write a grant (up to $500)
- Innovative curriculum development that goes beyond the usual
departmental curriculum process
- Retention/persistence projects
- Innovative projects related to career exploration
- Research leading to innovation
- New approaches to helping students succeed
