bullet

Scott Barr, Program Review Chair, presented a report regarding 2005-2006 results of the Program Review Process, describing the commendations and recommendations for each program reviewed in the cycle.

Dr. Dean Colli presented a report on the status of the Grossmont College Nursing Program. His report identified three major issue areas: ability to attract and retain full-time and part-time faculty; difficulty in attracting and retaining the administrator for the program—Associate Dean, Health Professions; and the warning status for the National League of Nursing accreditation. Dr. Colli also shared immediate and short-range strategies for dealing with these issue areas, as considered by leadership at all levels, including United Faculty. He then responded to questions from members of the Governing Board and others in attendance.
