January 17, 11:30 a.m.) and the Digital Arts &
Sculpture Building Complex (Friday, February 2,
11 a.m.) Please plan to join us for these
exciting ceremonies.
Congratulations to Foundation Executive Director
Ernie Ewin, the Foundation Gala Chairs Vicki
Whitmire and Karol Schoen, and our campus Gala
team for the outstanding success of the Walk of
Fame Gala held on Saturday, October 21. We are
happy to report that not only did this Gala net
a substantial positive bottom line, it was the
most financially successful yet. In addition,
the program provided the opportunity to honor
outstanding alumni and to meet "Terry" Kim, the
student scholar, who represents what the
Foundation's work is all about. Thanks to our
Governing Board members for sharing the
festivities with us.

Our Emergency Operations Center Work Group
continues to fine-tune our emergency
preparedness. We will conduct a disaster drill,
based on an emergency scenario involving an
overhead aircraft collision. Some classrooms and
offices will be evacuated while others will not.
Our Emergency Operations Center procedures will
also be tested.
