In Paris Huge Success with Café de Paris Gourmet Luncheon |
| |
One could almost see
the Eifel Tower in the background as sidewalk chalk artists
created their versions of impressionist works, musicians entertained
with a variety of contemporary and classic favorites, and les
sandwiches and les petits fours provided the
atmosphere on a beautiful spring day. Meanwhile, the Snack Bar
Patio was transformed into Le Café de Paris for a gourmet
meal created and served by the Culinary Arts students. The Café
project was a benefit to raise scholarship funds for the participating
departments. The entire project helped showcase the upcoming
Summer Study Abroad in Paris project, and the three GC courses
recently approved by the Governing Board as part of that project.
