Step 5: Correcting Errors
The final step will be correcting the errors that you discover and those which are pointed out to you by the online site where you tested your pages for validation. This step can be frustrating at times. Focus on the goal of making your webpage(s) as accessible to all students as you can. Tackle the most critical Priority 1 errors first.
Recognize that with each error you are able to correct, you have made your web page more accessible to students with special needs and an all around better webpage for everyone. Some errors you correct will mean students using various browsers will all see your page the way you want it to be displayed.
A web page that does not meet W3C guidelines may have content spacing and display problems when accessed with various web browsers. Other corrections will mean a student with poor eyesight can now magnify the text properly so he/she can view the content. Each correction improves the accessibility of your website.
