Preparing your project for print:

  1. Download and use this template provided by 48 Hour Printers:
    Zipped Print Template
  2. Extract the files and open them in Photoshop
  3. Use the 11x8.5sfb_Out.psd file for the front and back of your booklet.
  4. Use the 11x8.5sfb_Out.psd file for the inside of your booklet.
  5. Make sure guides are turned on in Photoshop (View > Show > Guides) and follow the guidlines when creating your graphics.
  6. Read the instructions that come with the guides.
  7. Lock the layer that explains the guidlines. As you complete your project hide and show it as needed.
  8. Before you start make sure your image mode is set to CMYK.
  9. Include these guides as your bottom layer when you submit your .psd files.
