Instructions:
By Saturday:
In two weeks Project 1 is due. In order to submit it you first need to have a project proposal approved by your instructor.
Here are the steps:
- Read the Project 1 instructions carefully
- In 25-100 words describe what you plan to submit in two weeks.
- Make several rough PENCIL thumbnail sketches of your ideas (3 minimum). (See examples below.)
- Purpose of thumbnail sketches: these small sketches help you work out your ideas in advance of creating your project. This will help you get started earlier and end up with a much better final product.
- Read this article about the importance of the Napkin Sketch: http://www.fastcompany.com/magazine/124/the-napkin-sketch.html
- Scan the sketches and attach a jpg or gif file to your description. If you do not have a scanner you can use one on campus in the CSIS open labs or take a digital photo.
- Select the link above to submit to the Discussion Board.
