 Anesthesia Technician Program
- One-year program: Fall, Spring, and Summer
- All classes held on Friday evenings and Saturdays
- Classes taught on site at Grossmont College & local clinical sites
- Must be 18 years or older

Due to the California
State budget, the Anesthesia Technician Program is
on hold indefinitely. We do not know when or if this
program will be offered again and therefore we are
not accepting any applications to this program.

reductions from the
State of California,
Grossmont College
will not be offering
the Anesthesia
Technology in Fall
2012.
As the State budget
improves, we plan to
offer the Anesthesia
Tech Program again.

Effective
January 01, 2012
If you are
enrolled or have
accepted a seat into
any other Grossmont
College Health
Professions Program,
you will be
ineligible to
receive an
invitation to the
Anesthesia
Technology Program .
Students wishing to
apply to the
Anesthesia
Technology Program
must apply for an
entry date which
does not conflict
with the completion
of the Health
Professions Program
you are currently
enrolled in.
All students
must have completed
the Hepatitis B
Vaccinations (3) and
test for
Seropositivity in
order to begin the
program beginning
with the fall 2012
cohort.
Please note that the
series and
seropositivity take
approximately 7-8
months to complete.
Applicants wishing
to be considered for
fall 2012 should
begin the series
immediately. Please
contact your
healthcare provider,
for more information
on the Hepatitis B
Series of
vaccinations.

Starting in Fall 2010, a pre-requisite will be
enforced. Students must have successfully completed
BOT 161 Medical Terminology and, Biology 140 or Biology 144 with a grade of “C” or
better.
