Welcome. We would like to extend our counseling
services to you. Services will be available to you one business day after
your application is submitted.
COUNSELING
If you would like to see a counselor to discuss your educational plan, contact
the Counseling Center to make an appointment.
To AVOID THE RUSH, we encourage you make an appointment as soon as
possible. To prepare for your counseling appointment, complete the
following:
- Have official copies of all transfer work sent to our Admissions and
Records Office (allow 2 weeks).
- Verify with the Admissions Office that your transcripts have been
received. Call (619) 644-7186, OR
- If you have NOT completed an English and/or
math course at a college/university, you can make an
appointment to take the appropriate test. To make an
appointment, contact the Assessment Office at (619)
644-7200, Room 70-202.
- Have your list of questions ready before your
counseling appointment.
PREREQUISITES
Prerequisite clearance MUST be initiated by the
student. Check the Grossmont college prerequisite enforcement policy at
http://www.grossmont.edu/counseling/prereq.asp.
