High School Outreach
Grossmont College provides a comprehensive high school
outreach program to the twelve high schools in the the Grossmont Union High
School District, as well as other high schools who have requested our
services. An orientation to California higher education options are
presented to high school seniors in the fall and the application process is
completed in the spring.
Outreach counselors make regular bi-monthly visits to
various high schools to:

provide individual and group counseling sessions

conduct classroom presentations on transfer options,
financial aid & scholarships

present cost comparisons of the different educational systems
and campus resources

The Counseling department welcomes the opportunity to visit
elementary, middle and high school settings that request information about
the vocational programs and transfer options Grossmont College has to offer.
