ESL Students
New ESL students MUST complete the following:
- Fill out an application to Grossmont College. Wait 24 hours for
your application to process.
- Attend an Assessment session. Anyone who is planning
to take an English, English as a Second Language, or Mathematics
course needs to take the Assessment Test. One
key to achieving success in college is to take courses that are at your
skill level.
- Attend an
Orientation/Class Selection session AFTER you have completed
a Testing session. You will have an opportunity to discuss your
test results with an English as a Second Language instructor.

- Register for your classes. After you apply, a registration appointment
time will be mailed to you. You may register for classes over the web by using
WebAdvisor.
