New Student Orientation/Advising:

If you have already attended an Assessment session and need clarification, you may attend a General Orientation/Advising sessions. These sessions will provide a review on how to select classes based on your educational goal. Following the presentation, there will be a question/answer period.

The General Orientation/Advising sessions are available by appointment only.

 

Read the following instructions prior to making an appointment.

  1. LOGGING INTO WebAdvisor

    1. Click on login
    2. Type in your user ID (firstname.lastname)
    3. Type in your birthdate -- mmddyy (6 digits)
    4. Click on Submit

  2. CHANGING YOUR PASSWORD (1st time through only. This will be the same process you use for registering in classes.)

    1. Type in your user ID (firstname.lastname)
    2. Type in your birthdate – mmddyy (6 digits)
    3. Select a new password. Password MUST be at least 6, no more than 9 digits. MUST contain letters and numbers.
    4. Retype the new password
    5. IMPORTANT. You are strongly encouraged to provide yourself with a hint regarding your password.

  3. MAKING THE APPOINTMENT FOR ASSESSMENT and/or ADVISING

    1. Click on Student
    2. Click on Assessment/Advising Appointment Scheduling
    3. Click on Grossmont
    4. Follow the Instructions

NOTE: If you are transferring to Grossmont College from other colleges/universities and require counseling assistance, you must call the Counseling Center at (619) 644-7208 to make an appointment for a Transfer Workshop.
