| TEACH Act:
What is the TEACH Act? The TEACH Act, passed in November 2002, amended copyright law to include instruction via computers so that instructors could more easily use copyrighted works without permission during their teaching, especially for distance education. The TEACH Act encourages distance learning by expanding the copyright exemption for instruction.
